FAQ
Invitation Size
All of our invitations are 6x4 inches as this makes it
easy, affordable and hassle free for our customers to print the invitations. 6x4 inch photo paper is widely available at
a reasonable price, can be easily used with most home printers, and means you don't have to muck around with cutting the
invitations to size. You simply print onto the 6x4 inch paper and you have a finished product.
Paper
6x4 inch photo paper is widely available and can usually
be bought at stationary stores, department stores, photo stores, some newsagents and some large supermarkets.
We personally find that the invitations look better
printed on glossy photo paper, but you can use either. We do not recommend a particular brand.
Printing
These days, most colour printers, even cheap ones (e.g. a
$60 printer), will print your invitations at a good quality, provided you have your printer settings set correctly. You
can use either a printer specifically designed for printing photos or any ordinary colour printer.
You will need to ensure you set the following printer
settings:
• Paper type: Select glossy or matte photo paper (depending on which type you are using). • Quality: Choose the highest quality available (this is usually 'high' or 'best'). • Paper size: Select 6x4 inches. • Paper orientation: Make sure you select the correct orientation for you invitation (portrait or landscape). • Ensure the 'borderless printing' option is selected and the 'amount of extension' is adjusted correctly (if this option exists for your printer). No, at this stage we do not provide a printing
service.
Yes, any professional printing service should be able to
print your invitations for you, provided they accept PDF files.
However, standard photo printing kiosk systems can be problematic as they generally do not recognize PDF files for printing. There is a fairly simple workaround though that you can do to turn your edited PDF file invitation into a JPEG file if you wish to print from one of these kiosks. View the simple step by step guide to do this, or download the PowerPoint slideshow to your computer. Please note, this method may cause a slight reduction in the quality of the image but it should still print well. Alternatively, you can print the invitations on a home printer without any issues. Payment
You can pay for your invitation using PayPal. Through
PayPal, you can pay using your PayPal account or using a credit card (if you don't have a PayPal account). If your
PayPal account is linked to a bank account (rather than a credit card), your payment could take several days to clear
and your invitation will not be available to download until the payment has cleared.
PayPal is a secure way to send payments. Visit the PayPal
website
at www.paypal.com to find out more.
Following payment (via PayPal), you will be directed to
the download page. From here, you can download your purchased product. If you prefer to download your product at a later
time, you can log back into Invitations-2-Go at any time using your email address and password (which will have been
emailed to you) and download your product.
We are gradually adding functionality to our invitations
to enable you to modify the text type and colour. If you would like clarity on whether the invitation you are purchasing
has this functionality, please Contact Us. If this functionality is enabled on your invitation, you can modify the text
type and colour by opening the invitation PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader, and pressing 'Ctrl' + 'e' which will bring
up the text editing box where you can select font type, size and colour.
Yes, using either Adobe Acrobat Reader or any other
similar program you can change the information/text by selecting the text you want to change, pressing delete/backspace
and typing in your own information.
We understand that our choice of wording may not be the
same as yours. For this reason, all our invitations are able to be edited to reflect your choice of wording. Following
purchase, download and open your invitation, select the text you want to change, press delete/backspace, and type in the
new text. You will need to ensure that you have approximately the same amount of text as originally on the invitation to
ensure it fits optimally and maintains the aesthetic appeal of the invitation.
For a blank invitation, you will need open the
invitation, select the text and press delete/backspace. You can then print the invitation without the text. The
invitation is the same price regardless of whether you intend to print it with or without text. Remember that if you
intend to do this you will most likely need to print on matte paper so that you can write on it.
In some cases this will be possible. For example, a
wedding invitation can become a bridal shower invitation by simply changing the wording which you can do yourself
following purchase. If you're not sure, or if the changes would be more significant than just changing the wording, send
us an enquiry via the Contact us page and we will endeavour to meet your request.
If you like one of our invitations, but would like it in
a different colour scheme, please send us your request via the Contact us page. In most cases,
it will be possible to accommodate your request and we will make the invitation available for purchase on our website.
Additionally, many of our invitations are already available in a variety of colours - you will notice additional colours
available when you click on a particular product.
No you won't be able to insert your own photos into an
invitation. However, we can create a custom invitation (at an additional cost) for you to meet your needs, and this can
include a photo(s). Please send us your enquiry via the Contact us page.
There are two options here:
1. If you want to add individual guest names, you will need to type the person's name, then print one copy of the invitation, then type the next person's name, then print that invitation, and so on until you have printed invitations for all your guests. 2. Alternatively, do not add guest names to the individual invitations (if the invitation you have purchased has 'To...' on it you can simply delete this line of text.) This way you can just print a bulk number of invitations at once. Yes, we can design a custom invitation for you. This will
incur an additional $60 (AUD) fee on top of the invitation purchase price. We will require from you a degree of detail
as to what you would like the invitation to include in terms of images, colours, and overall design. We will then design
an invitation and send a proof to you. We will make changes to the design up to a maximum of three times following your
feedback. We will own the design and the copyright right even in the case of custom design, and reserve the right to
include the invitation for purchase on our website if we wish.

Placecard
Size
The
individual placecards measure 8cm x 11cm when lying flat, or 8cm x
5.5cm each side when folded into shape.
The placecard template however is A4 size so that four placecards can be printed at the one time. Each of the individual placecards on the one A4 sheet can be customised with a different name. Paper
You
will need A4 paper.
We
suggest cardstock, cardboard or photo paper so that the placecard is
firm enough to stand up once folded.
Printing

(e.g. a $60 printer), will print your placecards at a good quality,
provided you have your printer settings set correctly.
You
will need to ensure you set the following printer
settings:
• Paper type: Select plain, cardstock or photo paper (depending on which type you are using). • Quality: Choose the highest quality available (this is usually 'high' or 'best'). • Paper size: Select A4. • Paper orientation: Select portrait. Yes,
any store that does A4 printing should be able to print your place
cards for you, provided they accept PDF files.
Once
you have printed your A4 sheet of placecards, you will need to cut
out each of the four placecards on the page and fold them in half so
they stand up.
If you have your placecards printed at a professional printer, they could possibly cut out the placecards for you as part of the services they offer. No, we regret to advise that we do not offer a
printing service at this stage.
Payment
You
can pay for your placecard using PayPal. Through

placecard templates. Open the placecard PDF file in Adobe Acrobat
Reader, then press 'Ctrl' + 'e' which will bring up the text editing

Yes. You will need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader or
any other similar PDF editing program. You can change the names by
selecting the name you want to change, pressing delete/backspace and
typing in the replacement name.
What you will need to do is type the names of four people, then
either print or save that template. Then type the names of the next
four people, then print or save that template as another document,
and so on until you have placecards for all your guests.
